We are working on our future vision for Brookmeade and we have a number of options to be presented to the congregation. Please be vigilant in checking your emails from Brookmeade for the month of November as we will be sending out Zoom links that will allow you to be present for the meetings.
The current plan voted on by the council that met in October is to have 3 congregational meetings in November, starting with November 1 at 6 pm. On November 1, we will also be voting on new church officers who were nominated by the council. The following meeting will be a time for discussion and asking questions. The final meeting is set to be a time for voting on what direction we would like to take next. We will be sending emails relevant to each meeting closer to these dates and will send out postcards as a reminder of these dates as well. Please plan to be present at these meetings. In preparation for these meetings on November 1, November 8, November 15 at 6 pm please review the documents sent to you by email to best participate in discussion of the options that the congregation has narrowed down.
Make a plan to be present for these meeting. There are two options for being present at this virtual meeting: 1) Join the meeting through the Zoom app which can be downloaded for free to your smart phone or computer, then click the link sent to you by email or 2) Join the meeting by calling in using the phone number and meeting ID and passcode, and also have someone in the congregation serve as a proxy to be present to vote for you — proxy forms will be mailed to anyone who requests them. An email will be sent soon with this information. If you have not received the link/phone number by email to join the meeting please feel free to contact us (brookmeade@comcast.net, 615-352-4702).

Hello, everyone! We have some folks joining the church and we are soooo excited! If you or anyone you know is interested in a new member class, we will hold one on Wednesday, October 28th on Zoom at 6 pm. Please check your weekly email for the link to the Zoom Meeting. As always, anyone who is interested is invited and encouraged to attend this class!
We will have a socially-distant, outdoor, youth and young adult gathering at Brookmeade on October 31st at 5 pm! We will enjoy an outdoor Halloween movie of the group’s choosing, eat s’mores and roast hot dogs over the fire, and enjoy time together under the stars. Come dressed up for Halloween (optional) and bring a chair and something warm to wear while we watch a movie together. Our last gathering was delightful and this one will be too! If you’d like to help with setup or volunteer, please let us know and arrive at 4:30 pm. If you’d like to help with food or make something yummy for the event, please email brookmeade@comcast.net!

In Brookmeade tradition, we are taking orders for Red and White Poinsettias for the Christmas season. 6.5″ poinsettias are $9.00 , 8″ poinsettias are $16.00, 10″ poinsettias are $25.00.
