Thursday, Nov. 28th: Thanksgiving Day Potluck

Our traditional Brookmeade Thanksgiving Potluck meal will be on Thanksgiving Day at 2 pm. We ask everyone to bring something to share.  Bring your family and/or friends; all we need is a count – and your food contributions –  to plan with. Please contact the church office (615-352-4702; Brookmeade@comcast.net) or sign up in the fellowship hall. Volunteers to help set up or clean up would be appreciated! Thanks!

Learn & Grow: November Gratitude Study

As we approach the Thanksgiving holiday we want to take some time think about gratitude.  In Ephesians 5: 20 Paul writes, “giving thanks to God the Father at all times and for everything in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ.”  We should give thanks to God for we have received much from the Creator’s hand.  We also want to think about giving thanks to those around us for they have also given us much.  Come join us Sundays at 9:15 to spend some time thinking about gratitude.

Sun. Nov. 3rd: COW Offering

The first Sunday of every month is COW Sunday (Contribute Our Wealth). Everyone is encouraged to bring non-perishable food for Second Harvest. All money donations are split between Second Harvest and Heifer International. Brookmeade doing its part to alleviate hunger!

Fri. Nov. 1st: Post-Halloween Fall Fest Party

We’re extending the fun on Halloween weekend by having a day-after pumpkin & spook party at Brookmeade! All Nashville UCC churches are invited to come, still in Halloween & Fall festive costume, or just come to have great fun and UCC fellowship! Join us for fun fall activities and marshmallow roasting. Pizza provided! The party starts at 7:00 pm. See you there!
