Brookmeade will be collecting toys for the next four Sundays to be given to The Last Minute Toy Store. We ask that you not bring toys that require batteries.  There is a collection box in the foyer for the toys. The Last Minute Toy Store provides Christmas gifts to families in need.

The first Sunday of every month is COW Sunday (Contribute Our Wealth). Everyone is encouraged to bring non-perishable food for Second Harvest. All money donations are split between Second Harvest and Heifer International. Brookmeade doing its part to alleviate hunger!

Project CURE Volunteer Group is scheduled for Saturday, December 1^st, from 9:30 am – 12 pm (2300 Clifton Ave, 37209). We will be sorting medical supplies to be sent to hospitals in developing countries. Everyone is welcome, including newcomers! See you there!

Join us on Saturday, December 1^st from 1 to 3 pm as we decorate our church for the Christmas Season! Come fellowship with us as we ring in the holidays!

There are sign up sheets for this year’s Room in the Inn dates on the Community Life board! This year we will be hosting RITI on these Sundays: Nov. 25th, Dec. 30th, Jan. 27th, Feb. 24th. For Nov. 25th we still need help with setup, laundry, lunches and drivers.

Thanksgiving Day Potluck

2:00 pm at Brookmeade UCC

Our traditional Brookmeade Thanksgiving potluck meal will be on Thanksgiving Day at Brookmeade.  We ask everyone to bring something to share.  (It does not have to be homemade, but whatever you enjoy at a Thanksgiving Dinner.)  Everyone is encouraged to attend who does not have plans elsewhere.  Bring your family, neigbors and/or friends; all we need is a count –  and your food contributions –  to plan with.

Every Advent Season, Brookmeade offers Poinsettias for sale. The poinsettias decorate our sanctuary in remembrance and tribute to past and current members during the Christmas season. Members are free to take their poinsettias home after the Christmas Eve Service. This year we are offering 6.5″ ($9.00) and 8″ ($16.00) sized Poinsettia pots in red and white. We get our poinsettias from Nature’s Best Nursery in Nolensville and they are always spectacularly beautiful! There are order forms in the front foyer.
