Sun. April 30th: CROP Walk

Nashville comes together to raise money and awareness  for hunger relief-locally and around the world, on Sunday April 30th at 2:30 pm (registration opens at 1:45 pm) at Fannie Mae Dees Park (aka Dragon Park – on the corner of Blakemore Ave. and 24th Ave. South). Both the 1 mile and 5k routes go around the adjacent neighborhoods. One fourth of the funds raised stays in Nashville to support local hunger and poverty fighting programs. The 2017 walk will support the work of Second Harvest Food Bank, Nashville Food Project, and Luke 14:12. The remaining money is used  by Church World Service to alleviate hunger in poor communities throughout the world. If you would like to walk pick up a pledge envelope from Agnes. Please give generously to the walkers, checks can be made out to “CROP Hunger Walk”.
