In 2022, the UCC’s annual Neighbors in Need offering focuses on economic justice. We can feel the impact of inflation on our households, but what about those who have less than we? While we will formally collect this offering on October 2, World Communion Sunday, if you make your donations on-line or make sending in checks, please take care of this ahead of time.
As you may recall, one-third of the offering supports Council for American Indian Ministry (CAIM). Two-thirds are used by Justice and Witness Ministries to provide grants to UCC churches and organizations to help with their economic justice work, and also supports a variety of justice initiatives, advocacy efforts, and direct service projects.
