All are welcome to join us for regular worship on Sunday, May 12th when we will honor Mothering Sunday. This is a shift from the focus on Mothers to a focus on how we care for one another. This shift is because “Mother’s Day” can be hard for people for many different reasons, and by shifting our focus we can name that difficulty, honor and be gentle with it, and still honor the craft of mothering. Because we have postponed Nature Sunday we will not be having a Potluck for Mothering Sunday.
Nature Sunday Postponed Announcement:
We have decided to postpone our Nature Sunday service on 5/12 due to concerns about the burgeoning cicada invasion of 2024. We will reschedule for a date this fall when the weather will be a bit cooler, and nature more hospitable for us to enjoy together thoroughly. Stay tuned for an announcement about that event later this year and thank you for being flexible in our worship schedule together.
