On Saturday, November 9th, we will meet at our building to freshen up for the fall and prepare for Advent from 10 am to 1 pm. We will be straightening up in the building, moving Pastor Liz’s office, and freshening up the garden and our yard. Everyone please come chip in. Many hands make for light work!

We are excited to participate in “30 Days of Gratitude” alongside HTCC during the month of November!
From Aaron Bostwick, HTCC Worship Director:
“I’m excited to invite you to participate in our 30 Days of Gratitude Challenge this November! This journey encourages us to cultivate an attitude of gratitude by reflecting on the blessings in our lives, both big and small.
We’ll kick off the challenge by starting with a gratitude jar or journal. Each day, you’ll write down one thing you’re thankful for and add it to your jar. But that’s just the beginning! Each day will also feature its own unique prompts and additional challenges designed to inspire deeper reflection and connection.
As you engage in these daily practices, we encourage you to share your moments of gratitude with friends, family, and fellow congregants on our socials. Together, we can uplift one another and deepen our connection as a community. You can pick up your Gratitude Challenge Calendar at church or by clicking here!
Join us as we embark on this heartwarming journey together, starting on November 1st. Keep an eye on our social media for daily prompts, reflections, and inspiration!”
We hope you will embrace this opportunity to reflect on what you are grateful for leading up to the Advent season!
SAVE THE DATE! A festive evening of fellowship & fun is planned for the Friday before Halloween (10/25 @ 6:30 pm) for Brookmeade families & the wider community. We’ll start with a pizza party, and then pumpkin carving to make Jack-O-Lanterns to take home for Halloween proper on the 31st! Other fun activities are planned! Costumes welcomed!

Tuesday, October 15th @ 6:30 pm: “1 in 4 women experience Pregnancy or Infant loss. If it isn’t you, it’s probably someone you know. Come and spend some time of reflection and support where you are not expected to hide your grief. All are welcome, no matter how your loss occurred.”
