We are going to get together to practice yoga at Brookmeade. No experience necessary. We will be guided by “Yoga with Adriene” videos from YouTube. Bring a yoga mat or use the floor or borrow one from someone else (let us know if you need one). The first Monday of each month will be a Chair Yoga class. Call the church office with any questions. Otherwise, see you Mondays at 5pm in the Fellowship Room at Brookmeade!

Join us for the MLK Day March, Monday, January 20th. Brookmeaders will park and meet at the Jefferson Street Baptist Church at 8:30 am. The March to TSU Campus starts at 10 am. See you there!

Save the date for our first Congregational Meeting of 2020! It will be held after worship Sunday, January 26th. Due to set up for Room in the Inn, we will not have a potluck during the meeting.

Sunday, January 12th we will be putting away Christmas Decorations as well as holding our first Potluck Luncheon of the new year! There is a sign up sheet located on the bulletin board in the Fellowship Hall.

In January and February we will be having a Maker’s series for Time with Family in Worship!  Share something that you have made with our community.  It could be food, craft, carpentry, art, or whatever you make!  Time with Family is meant to be a time when we get to know each other.  Let us get to know you.  Sign up in the coffee fellowship room on the bulletin board for a Sunday starting in January. 

Project CURE Volunteer Group is scheduled for Sat. January 4th from 9:30 am – 12 pm (2300 Clifton Ave, 37209). We will be sorting medical supplies to be sent to hospitals in developing countries. Everyone is welcome, including newcomers! See you there!
