New Friends Gathering

Our next trip to Project CURE is scheduled for Saturday, August 6^th from 9 am -12 pm (2300 Clifton Ave, Nashville, TN 37209; 615-837-7575). Everyone is welcome, including new comers. You’ll feel like a pro in no time. Hope to see you all there!

Parents and youth ages 10 and older are invited to bring a picnic lunch to our Confirmation Meeting next Sunday, July 24th at noon. Let’s have a conversation about Confirmation and other ministry with the youth of our church.

Please join us for Coffee Fellowship this Sunday following the service. In addition to coffee we will be having an Ice cream Social to celebrate Brookmeade’s 63^rd Anniversary (founded in 1953).

The Book Group will meet on Tuesday, July 19th at 10:00 am. The book to read is “Keeping Faith” by Jodi Picoult. More more information and meeting place, please contact the church office.

New at Brookmeade! Breakfast Church: Hands-On Worship for All Ages

When: Sunday, June 19, 2016 9:00-10:00 a.m.

What: Breakfast & Hands-On Worship

Who: For all Brookmeade children & youth & adults (ages 2-108). Attention all kids 10 and younger: Bring a parent (or other adult) or two.

Where: Breakfast in Fellowship Hall at 9:00 a.m. We will be finished eating by 9:15 so please be on time!

Saturday, June 25^th is the Nashville Pride Festival. Brookmeade UCC has been a long-time participant in the Nashville Pride Festival. It is very important to show our support for this community of Nashvillians as well as very meaningful to our LBGTQ members to have our presence as a church at this event. Please consider signing up to staff our booth. It is a fun day to be part of the spirit and pride. Set-up would be between 8:30 and 10am. The festival runs from 10am-6pm.  Grab a friend and come staff the table and chat with everyone in Nashville. Tony E. has more information.
