Sun. Jan. 27th: Third Room in the Inn

There are sign up sheets for this year’s Room in the Inn dates on the Community Life board! This year we will be hosting RITI on Sundays: Jan. 27th, Feb. 24th. For January 27th, we still need volunteers to help with set up and drivers for Sunday night.

Sun. Jan. 20th: Congregational Meeting & Potluck

Join us for the first Congregational Meeting and Potluck of 2019 on Sunday, January 20th following the service. There is a sign up sheet for the Potluck on the Community Life board in the hallway. We hope everyone can join us and fellowship together as we discuss where Brookmeade is headed in the New Year!

Sun. Dec. 30th: Music Sunday

Join us or a special service of readings and song on Sunday, December 30th. The theme is “Hope for the New Year”. If you would like to participate in the service please contact Mike R.

Sun. Jan. 6th: COW Offering

The first Sunday of every month is COW Sunday (Contribute Our Wealth). Everyone is encouraged to bring non-perishable food for Second Harvest. All money donations are split between Second Harvest and Heifer International. Brookmeade doing its part to alleviate hunger!

Sat. Jan. 5th: Project CURE Volunteer Group

Project CURE Volunteer Group is scheduled for Saturday, January 5th, from 9:30 am – 12 pm (2300 Clifton Ave, 37209). We will be sorting medical supplies to be sent to hospitals in developing countries. Everyone is welcome, including newcomers! See you there!

Sun. Dec. 30th: 2nd Room in the Inn

There are sign up sheets for this year’s Room in the Inn dates on the Community Life board! This year we will be hosting RITI on these Sundays: Dec. 30th, Jan. 27th, Feb. 24th. For Dec. 30th we still need volunteers for setup, laundry, drivers and two hosts to stay overnight.

Mon. Dec. 24th: Christmas Eve Candlelight Service

The Christmas Eve Candlelight Service will be held at 5:00 pm on Monday, December 24th. Please invite your family, friends and neighbors to attend this special service of readings and hymns as we celebrate the joy of Christmas!

Sun. Dec. 9th: Christmas Caroling

Our traditional Brookmeade caroling for health-challenged members will be on Sunday, December 9th, right after coffee fellowship that day. Please join us then to sing carols to extend love, support & encouragement for members facing challenges during this Christmas season. We’ll be car-pooling after coffee fellowship on December 9th.
