Sun. July 14th: Google Docs Information Session

As Brookmeade moves towards digitizing important files, please come to an information session on Sunday, July 14^th at 9:15 am to learn more about how to use Google Docs to share and save important documents!

Sun. July 7th: COW Offering

The first Sunday of every month is COW Sunday (Contribute Our Wealth). Everyone is encouraged to bring non-perishable food for Second Harvest. All money donations are split between Second Harvest and Heifer International. Brookmeade doing its part to alleviate hunger!

Sat. July 6th: Project CURE Volunteer Group

Project CURE Volunteer Group is scheduled for Saturday, July 6th from 9:30 am – 12 pm (2300 Clifton Ave, 37209). We will be sorting medical supplies to be sent to hospitals in developing countries. Everyone is welcome, including newcomers! See you there!

Sun. June 30th: Music Sunday

Join us this Sunday, June 30th for a special Music Sunday! The theme will be “Change”. If you would like to participate by adding a reading, song or other offering please contact the church office by this Thursday 6/27!

Sunday, June 9th: STC Offering

The Strengthen the Church offering supports the expansion of ministry and growth of UCC local congregations. Your support of this offering will help the UCC fulfill on its commitment to creating a just world for all by investing in new ministries and practices that meet the emerging needs of local communities.

As God calls our congregations to be the church in new ways, your generosity will plant new churches, awaken new ideas in existing churches and develop the spiritual life in our youth and young adults. Brookmeade will receive the STC offering on Pentecost Sunday, June 9th, 2019. Please look for the special envelopes in the bulletin.

Sat. June 22 – Sun. June 23: Nashville Pride Festival

Brookmeade will have a booth at the Nashville Pride Festival this year! Please sign up to volunteer in the fellowship hall or by contacting the Brookmeade office. “Nashville Pride Festival returns to Public Square Park in Downtown Nashville. The 31st Annual Festival will take place in Public Square Park on Saturday June 22^nd (10 am – 9 pm) and Sunday June 23^rd (12 pm – 6 pm). The festival will feature over 200 vendors, 3 stages with local and national touring acts, kids and family zone, youth area, dance tent and much, much more.” The Pride Parade will begin at 10 am on Saturday 6/22 at the corner of Broadway and 8th Avenue.
